Our camp at Paralia, 52 kilometers east of Jodhpur, in Balotra District was organised at the famous Balaji temple. We were received graciously by the Mahant [head priest] of the temple. The camp was sponsored by Ms Tripti Upadhyay to commemorate her late parents Dr HL Upadhyay and Dr Tara Sharma.

Our team examined and treated 239 patients on site and bussed 27 patients for free surgery to the base hospital at Jodhpur. The The twenty-seven patients with cataract received state of the art phaco surgery and a foldable lens implant free of charge.
