The Gift of Sight is the most precious gift one can give to a blind person. Leading one from darkness to light is the greatest joy one can give to another and receive joy in equal, if not more, measure. Such is the miracle of restored Sight. I am glad to share that we had a free eye camp at village Sathin 67 kilometers northeast of Jodhpur.

The camp was organized in collaboration with the Al Abbas Education society headed by a venerated saint, Pir sahib, who is a veritable dynamo when it comes to mobilizing patients, empathizing with them and seeing them through the process of surgery. Hats off to him for his excellent services. In this camp we examined and treated 237 patients free of charge and performed 16 cataract surgeries gratis. Here are some photos of the camp.
