Aligning with the goals of the National Programme for the Prevention of Blindness [NPCB&VI] of reducing the burden of blindness, our next free eye camp was organized at the Bala Sati Govt Dispensary on 20-5-2025. Despite the intense summer heat, 33 patients visited the clinic for consultation. Our team provided essential eye care and free medication on the spot.

Nine individuals diagnosed with cataracts were selected for surgery, and all received sight-restoring operations with artificial lens implantation at no cost.

The accompanying picture reflects fewer numbers of operated cases, as several patients arrived later in the evening for post-surgical dressings, avoiding the scorching midday sun. Every restored vision reaffirms our commitment to a brighter future for the visually impaired.
