Our monthly free eye camp at the Chopasni Housing Board [CHB] Government Satellite Hospital took place on 13 June 2025. During the camp, our ophthalmic assistant, Mr Wasim screened 30 individuals with various eye conditions. Four patients in need of surgical intervention for mature cataract were admitted for free surgery, including post-op care and follow-up. They were operated in the evening and received an artificial lens implant too at no cost.
