On June 6, 2025, we had the honor of hosting a team of 14 dedicated volunteers from Revival Health, a leading medical solutions company based in the United States, under the aegis of SEE International. The team was led by Ms. Megan Odell, with invaluable support from Komal, and actively participated in our monthly eye camp at the Udaimandir Government Dispensary. Their efforts were instrumental in registering patients and preparing those slated for surgery by carefully marking the correct eye with adhesive tape—a crucial step in ensuring precision, care and safety.
Later in the evening, the team visited our hospital, where they were given a guided tour, followed by an insightful presentation showcasing the hospital’s history, impact, and ongoing mission in providing free eye care to underserved communities. Their engagement didn’t stop there. The volunteers proceeded to the operating room, where they gained firsthand experience in preparing patients for surgery and observed the meticulous process of sight-restoring eye surgery—a powerful introduction to the transformative work being done in nonprofit healthcare.
We extend our sincere gratitude to SEE International for facilitating this impactful visit and to Ms. Odell for her leadership and valuable insights in the field of eye care.
This camp was a testament to our shared commitment to fighting avoidable blindness—37 patients received onsite treatment, and six underwent surgery completely free of charge, including artificial lens implants to restore their vision at no cost.
Together, we continue to make vision a reality for those in need.
